Now we would like to present some of our most successful projects which have already been completed.
DEPOT
With the objective to inform German youngsters about the EU-eastward enlargement a delegation of the Polish partner school in Warsaw visited our school in the context of the EU-project DEPOT. Our school was the host and organized the courses which were held by Polish students. During one week they informed about 500 German students at different vocational colleges about the topics “job market”, “education”, “economy”, “social issues” and “leisure time”.
Vico-Ecom
In the years 2003 to 2005 BK Rheydt-Mülfort took over a leading role in the following project:
Selected European partners worked out teaching and learning materials in the field of “e-commerce” and exchanged them. The EU pilot project “Vico-Ecom” developed the project objectives within three steps:
First step: Theoretical concept and developing materials
The materials which were developed for the subject e-commerce were integrated into the curriculum of different IKT-training modules and commercial core subjects in order to enhance the present vocational training and the continuing education.
Second step: Training platform
As part of the project a training platform was developed for all the European project partners (schools as well as companies), which was aligned with the working life reality.
Third step: Real transaction platform
Interested schools and companies from different branches started testing a real online-shop, which had been installed. Here they learned to receive - on real time conditions - exemplary assistance in installing their online offers which correspond to modern European standards.
The main target groups of the pilot project “Vico-Ecom” were:
a) trainees and young employees serving their first vocational training as well as
b) employees doing a further vocational training in the field of commercial and / or technical-administrative jobs and
c) small and medium-sized enterprises (KMU) which want to enter and get established on the virtual market; addressees are especially internal trainers.
